ELYSAI
DELIVERY MODEL

Carrying the context from concept to product.

We shape the concept with you and carry what the PoC established into building the production system. ELYSAI’s FDEs connect an understanding of the work with technical decisions, supporting AI-assisted development through to production deployment and ongoing improvement.

WHAT AN FDE DOES

What validation teaches us becomes the foundation for AI-assisted development.

A PoC produces more than a working prototype. What are you trying to achieve? What constraints does the work run under? Why was this approach chosen? ELYSAI organises that background and the validation results into requirements, design and acceptance criteria, shared between your team, the FDE and the development team. When building the production system, this shared understanding of the business goals, constraints and decisions also shapes what we give the AI as it helps write code and tests. Engineers check the output against the purpose and conditions of the work, turning it into a product people can actually use.

Carrying the business background and validation results through to the production build reduces repeated explanation and investigation, and the rework that comes from misunderstanding. Combined with AI-assisted development, it helps keep development costs in check and leads to quality that fits the purpose and conditions of the work.

Share the context, accelerate with AI — speed and quality from the same foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What an FDE is responsible for, and when.

The exact split varies with your setup and the engagement. This is where an ELYSAI FDE takes part, what they decide, and what that involvement looks like.

StageWhat the FDE ownsWhat that looks like
Deciding the problemSetting out the purpose, flow and constraints of the work as common groundSitting with the people doing the work and writing out the procedure, exceptions and constraints included
Deciding the technologyChoosing an approach from what validation showed, and recording whyComparing accuracy, response time and access requirements, and writing into requirements and design why each option was taken or rejected
Building the production systemUsing the shared context to guide AI-assisted work, with engineers checking it fits the businessTurning PoC results into acceptance criteria, and checking AI-assisted code and tests against them
Getting it into useDesigning where a person checks and where exceptions goWalking users through it and adjusting from the first weeks of rework
Checking it workedMeasuring against the agreed indicator and deciding the next improvementRecording processing time and rework counts, then deciding what to widen next
NOTE

What matters is how we work as part of your team.

FDE does not require a permanent presence in your office. It means sharing your understanding of the problem and goals, and taking responsibility for implementing and improving the solution. We agree on the team structure and balance of on-site and remote work for each engagement.
